DATA SECURITY

The security of your data is of central importance to YOURTAXI. The revised YOURTAXI platform has been tested and strengthened by several Swiss IT security companies.

Technical-organizational measures

The personal data processed by Your-Taxi GmbH as an organisation and YOURTAXI as software is limited to user data (name, first name, e-mail, mobile phone number, credit card information) and journey data (distance from/to, duration, payment information). While using the YOURTAXI app, location information is shared between passenger and driver but not stored.

The data is hosted encrypted at Amazon Web Services and transmitted encrypted via SSL.

1. Access control: Access to the premises: Key/Alarm system

2. Access control: Access to the software: encryption of data carriers, SSL transmission, user management with password policy, SMS code, automatic logout

3. Access control: Management of access rights by the owner/managing director of YOURTAXI, client-, role- and rights-based access management

4. Separation control: separation of development, test and live systems, separation of clients in the software

5. Pseudonymisation: The few personal data in the software cannot be pseudonymised to fulfil the purpose of the software

6. Passing on control: limitation of the group of persons authorised to pass on the data, passing on only at the request of the client or after checking the legal basis. Written determination of the transfer to third countries.

7. Input control: The traceability within the data management is ensured by logging the inputs in the log.

8. Order control: Processing of personal data exclusively for the purpose of processing driving orders.

9. Availability control: The data is located in the highly available cloud of Amazon Web Services.

Reporting irregularities

If you have the impression that third parties are using your YOURTAXI account or your data, your login may have been breached (e.g. access to your device or possibly to the server, unauthorised use of data). Signs:

• You will receive a confirmation email from YOURTAXI or a call/text message from a driver without having placed an order yourself.

• Data in your profile was changed without your knowledge.

In such a case, we ask you to contact us immediately at service@yourtaxi.ch.

Data protection

Your-Taxi GmbH (YOURTAXI) is financially and legally independent and complies with the provisions of the Swiss Data Protection Act as well as the European DSGVO when collecting and processing personal data.

Purpose-related and proportionate
YOURTAXI collects and processes data exclusively for its own purposes to provide free and chargeable services and to improve the offers. Data is protected by appropriate measures during transmission (e.g. using SSL encryption) and storage. Personal data is processed in accordance with legal requirements.

Website and analysis of website use
The YOURTAXI website is operated by Squarespace and Weglot. The calls of our websites are evaluated by means of Google Analytics as well as cookies for the purpose of improving the offer. A contract for contract processing with Google was concluded. The data is collected anonymously and not personal. You can disable Google Analytics in general with the help of a browser add-on.

Transmission of sensitive data
When you send us data, you consent to the collection, storage and processing of your data for the specified purpose. Unless otherwise specified, this data is stored in the form of an e-mail. If you provide us with personal data online, we assume that you consent to receive a response via the same or a more secure communication channel. Provide us with sensitive data such as user names and passwords via separate communication channels.

Newsletter
By registering, you expressly agree that we may send you information and statistically evaluate access to linked contents independent of persons. You can revoke your consent at any time by clicking the corresponding link in the newsletter or by e-mail.

Embedded content
We use Vimeo to display videos. For the representation of fonts we integrate web fonts from Hoefler Typography as well as Adobe Typekit. For the maps we use Google Maps. These providers can track access to their platform.

Cookies
Third-party providers such as Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Vimeo use cookies to provide additional services related to website and Internet use (e.g., ads) based on previous visits to this or other websites. You can delete cookies in your browser or completely deactivate the use of cookies in your browser.

Social Plugins
We do not use social plugins directly integrated by the provider. You use our social media appearances in accordance with the corresponding guidelines of the social media providers.

E-mails
Please note that for technological reasons, e-mails may not be transmitted encrypted throughout. E-mails can be viewed and manipulated by third parties during transmission, and they can also be filtered and lost as spam. Business correspondence and documents are stored for 10 years in accordance with legal requirements.

Data Privacy Shieldl
YOURTAXI may use software from companies that are subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield or a corresponding agreement.
